"Adaptive Technology Group provides technology services from email hosting all the way to cyber security and offer support around the world," says Greene.
And they do this with just seven employees right here in the historic district of Snohomish. Most employees are local, with a few coming from the south but with an easy reverse commute.
"There's quite a bit that goes on here. The town and environment are fantastic," says Greene.
It seems that Greene encourages the close-knit idea, bringing in local delectables each Friday for his employees to savor. He enjoys getting out into the community for events like the Antique and Classic Car Show and seeing familiar faces from area businesses outside the work environment.
In their new location on Cedar Street, employees can take breaks walking along First Street and enjoying restaurant options for lunch, or a coffee pick me up. Schools are nearby as well as a police station four blocks away, with response times less than 3 minutes.
"Having that type of response is phenomenal for a business owner," said Greene.
To Greene, it's all about the community.
"If I could describe Snohomish in a word it would be, community."
Greene has successfully designed a business that can support others around the world while providing jobs to locals who get the benefit of a small town way of life. Hi-tech meets community.
